Mend Ravenheat LS80T Boiler Central Heating Combi

central heating boiler ravenheat little star LS80T?

ravenheat combi boiler ,centralheating is turned off but pressure on water gauge is going up, all the time. taken pipe off for toping up water,but pressure gauge keeps going up.keep bleeding radiaters to take pressure down but pressure keeps going up from 1 bar to 4 bar in two days please help

my ch is working fine but water take a while to get hot for a few seconds then runs cold
what can cause this

the plate to plate heat exchanger needs changing.
this is often called the domestic heat exchanger. when you make a demand for water a diverter valve opens and sends
the main central heating flow through it passing its heat to the water flowing through it thus it arrives at the tap hot

It sounds very much like the Domestic (Plate) heat exchanger is passing.

If you live in a high mains pressure area, i.e. more than 8bar, you may need to install a pressure reducing valve on the CW inlet. The heat exchanger will need replacing but the PRV will prevent a reoccurence.
