Hiya, if you can here the motor trying to open the window then it is more than likely the regulator clip that has broken, about a tenner on ebay, then you want somebody competent to fit it, it is fiddly but quite easy to do once you have removed the regulator mechanism, if you can`t here the motor, first check the wiring to the swich, if it`s ok then the motor has probably gone, again ebay not very expensive for a used one, a simple job just unplug the old remove and fit the new one, i have just had to do my daughters Modus that had the same problem it was a broken clip though they will vary a bit from car to car there all basically the same.
