Mend Nissan Almera 1.4 R Reg

nissan almera 1.4 r reg?

my nissan keeps cutting out intermittently when stopping.I have had a service oil/filters etc.still doing the same thing it cuts out when engine is hot and cold.a mechanic said it was a electrical problem and has not been able to fix.any ideas please ,many thanks in advance.

The tickover is controlled by an air valve which is in the inlet manifold, these valves become sticky because they are not lubricated and this causes the stalling. This can usually be overcome by adding some fuel injection system cleaner to the petrol and this can be bought from Halfords or Willco.
