Heating element out on a chi,100$ blow dryer?

Heating element out of a chi 100$ blow dryer? Well called jc penney they have 90 day return policy. Called customer service at farouk, they do nothing because i don't have reciept!!!Never buy Chi again!!!! They stink and do not stand by there products!!
