Mend Ice King CH100 Freezer Freeze Turned

How can I fix my Ice King chest freezer CH100. ?

My freezer will only freeze when the fast freeze is turned on. As soon as the fast freeze is turned off it starts to defrost although the green light is on indicating that the freezer is working. The question is why is this happening?
