indesit di620 not starting - light 2 flashing?

I can't get our Indesit di620 dishwasher to work: Indicator light No. 2 is flashing as if the normal wash cycle has just finished, but we can't reset it even by keeping the 'P' button pressed down for 5 seconds. I have turned it on and off at the mains and on dishwasher many times which normally resolves this issue but it justwon't change, can you help please?
