worcester bosch 12ri?

My worcester bosch 12ri runs happily for a while and then I get the odd lockout, slow flashing blue light. I reset it & it runs again for days without an issue. It had been switched off for a long period before I moved in but is not yet 12 months old. Should I get it serviced or is there a known problem relating to lockout issues with this boiler. Its a system boiler on a vented installation on a Y plan.
