Mend Mountfield M1 Briggs Stratton

mountfield m1 estate rotavator with a broken conrod?

I have a mountfield m1 rotovator with a briggs and stratton 130902-0388-01 engine that has a broken con rod. Is it worth me replacing this con rod? If not is there a way a can bolt another newer type engine to make it work. Any help would be appreciated.

i would say depends on your skill to change it has it caused any other damage asses the state of engine when stripped down then decide yes you can replace just need to find an engine with same crank size
