if i disconnect the vss (vehicle speed sensor) plugs from the back of the gearbox (providing thats where they are located) what would happen to my truck or the outcomewill it disable the speed limiter so it doesnt function and will it affect the truck or its performance
The vehicle will go into limp mode either via the edc or the tcm,both of which will come up in a scan,equally it will interfere with the info to the tacho inwhich it records such interruptions for a period of time.......thats how we catch malicious drivers like yourself.
