How can I fix my radio 2005, corsa 2003?

When I switch on ignition, radio displays date, time and temperature but no connection, it is just dead. I have my car radio code but I cannot enter it in the display when there is no SAFE appearing on the display.It stopped working when I took it for a hand car wash. How do I clear off the screen, to get SAFE displayed.
