how can i fix my tv samsung le40a456?

I had exactly the same problem with the same 3 year old model which samsung repaired for free. This is a common capacitor problem with the power supply on certain samsung lcd models. call samsung on 08457267864 and tell them you have the known capacitor problem. They will tell you your model is not on the list of faulty models, inform them that you are not happy with their response and they will transfer you to the uk customer service department in the uk. They will tell you that the A series IS on the list and will arrange for their authorised repairer to contact you within 24 hours. Good Luck,
