how can I fix my Motorola MD450 cordless phone ?

I dropped my Motorola MD450 on the floor , nothing appeared to be broken but now it will not work. I thought at first it was the battery & switched the battery with the extention phone that was not dropped and was working to see if that was the problem , now neither phone will work. I can put the phone on the charger and see that the battery is charging but nothing esle appears on the screen... any one have any suggestions ?
