How to fix the heated rear window on my 1996 k11 micra?

Hi all
We have had our micra k11 for about 2 1/2 years and the heated rear screen has never worked since we got it.When i looked to see what was wrong the fuse was missing and as soon as i put a new fuse in it blew straight away.Looking at the switch it seemed to be wired up wrong which i dont understand .i have got a wiring diagram from the haynes manual,but has anyone got the real wiring colours / positions off a real switch ?
