Mend Samsung Freezer Smell Cleaned

my samsung fridge freezer has started smelling ?

Over the past few days my fridge freezer has developed a bad smell. I have cleaned and cleaned and this is not making any difference. I have checked all pipes and i cannot find where the smell is coming from.

Help. My Samsung American F/F has just started the same smell.
You open the door on the fridge side and this horrible not right plasticky smell hits you.
Not noticeable on the freezer side.
Temperatures still as normal.
Emptied fridge overnight and still smells the same.
Wife describes it as burning smell, as though something plastic is melting.
Help. (Did I say that before?)

We have exactly the same problem, it started about 5 days ago. We are worried that something might be overheating and causing some plastic component to break down (my husband is a technical plastics guy and recognises the smell)

Did you ever sort out what your problem was, please? It would be very helpful to know how you handled it
