How can I fix my Samsung RS21 Fridge Freezer?

hi copied and pasted this from another post ..

basically if you warranty is up call this guy .. sounds like defrost heater has failed causing appliance to trip fuse ..

guy can supply heater for about £30.00 we bought one 3 monnths ago for same fault

i hope this post helps you save a lot of time by not messing about trying all the weird and wonderfull help/tips that you can find on the internet

we have tried every help/tip thats availabale on the internet reguarding this problem - but you cant solve this without replacing faulty parts ... yes you can keep appliance working for another month by defrosting it but this is only really delaying problem ..

we came across this guy on you tube who is an expert on samsung fridge freezers he is authorized samsung repairer and has repaired over 3000 appliances..

we explained what we have tried so far etc , and he said everyone says the same thing ..bottom line is there is no quick fix - the only way to totaly cure fault is to replace the faulty components .. he does a kit which is available on ebay ...

Thanks very much SD, I have just rung Samsung to find that my fridge freezer is in warranty until next month and that an engineer will come and fix it free of charge.
Thanks once again for your comments and saving me some money.

Possibly the fridge side defrost heater, The part comes with the evaporator coils, which is not needed, about £70. Happened on mine, Samsung extended the warranty to 5 yrs on some of these, because of problems, they have a modification, which goes on the pcb in the back to stop it tripping, I got my money back, So worth asking Samsung first, get it fixed for free, plus all the modifications that go with it, which with labour etc, would cost more than the unit. No they did not tell anyone, that was why I fixed mine myself, Then found out about the warranty extension
