Harley Dyna wide glide electrical problem?

hi, I was working to remove backrest brackets, and had to disconnect indicators wiring, I think a wire must have shorted out on the bike somehow, and a heard a funny sort of fading bleep sound, every thing is now dead, it has a after market (unknown) alarm which is also dead. I dont know where the fusebox is located if this is the problem or not. thanks for any advise. the bike is a 1996 model fxdwg. evo
