Try this to reset the immobiliser:-

Answer 1: By disconnecting and removing the battery and then replacing it, you activated the anti-theft device in your car. If you arm and disarm the anti-theft device, it should reset. If this does not work using the remote, try locking and unlocking the driver side door with the key.

Answer 2: Try locking and unlocking the rear hatch. This could reset your security system.

Answer 3: I removed battery from car to charge it. Upon returning battery to car, alarm activated itself. The car dealer told me to turn ignition switch on and off 5 times, to reset the alarm.

Answer 4:Try unlocking the drivers door with the key, which may disarm the alarm system.

I have just found the code for my radio and it workes but my car still won't start. is this because i need a different code for the immobiliser?

Now that i have put in the radio code, i don't get any message telling me to enter the immobiliser code. if that makes sense

Wes,

Usaully your allowed 3 times, and I think you may have entered the code incorrectly.

Disconnet the car battery by removing the positive cable only and leave it for 30 minutes. After 30 mins replace the cable back and try again using the code correctly.

Hopefully your problem will be solved.
