Replacment On/Off Switch, for a Mitre Saw?

I have a ToolTec Mitre Saw with Laser. 1800 Watt.
Art No 27 3102, bought from Netto a couple of years ago. this saw has had verry little use, but now the on/off switch has failed. On contacting Netto, I got a verry negative responce, "Sorry we don't do spares and sorry we can't help you,"!!!
One of my sons (an electrical engineer) has offered to by-pass the US switch, but I would rather replace the the US one with a genuine switch, If these are available .?.
