Mend Renault Clio Immobiliser Engine Start

how can i disconnect the immobiliser on my y reg clio?

My clio turns over but does not fire up, leading me to believe it may be the immobiliser. Can i override this?? (the car is a 1.2 Clio grande, y reg)

doesn't sound like you immobiliser, you wouldn't be able to turn it over, might be your spark plugs?
