Mend Vauxhall Astra 1.4 Ignition Battery Starting Problem

astra wont start?

i was driving my k reg astra 1.4 and the power just cut out, i try to start it and it wont fire up, the ignition turns over and the battery is fine and there is petrol in the car, what could be the problem plz??? cheers

Vauxhall Vauxhall Astra 1.4 Vehicles, Cars Ignition Battery Starting Problem

The Cambelt has possibly snapped, to check undo the oil filler cap and get someone to spin engine over, look inside oil filler and see if the camshaft under the filler is rotating if it isn't then belt has snapped.
