We have a White Knight Tumble Dryer 797C and the pump has stopped working. Stripped down the machine and cleared out all the fluff from the pump and put the pump on the work bench and put a power supply directly to it and it works fine. When you put it back in the machine it does not seem to pump. Blown air through the hose so it is not blocked. Any ideas? All suggestions gratefully received. Thanks
I don't know all the models but if it has a mechanical timer which you twist to set running time then no its not on a pcb.be careful if buying a new timer as it might not be this and could be faulty connection/wiring!

CK thanks for replying. Yes, we have put a few very damp loads in to test it and then opened up the machine to check the reservoir and found it to be vertually over flowing. Is the timer mounted on the PCB?

pump only runs intermittently.controlled via the timer.Have you run it for a long time and allowed water to build up in the reservoir?
