which way round to connect wires?

which way round to connect the wires to the inline heater of a beko dwd5410w dishwasher one wire is purple and one wire is black. on the heater one terminal is coloured orange and the other is coloured blue

Beko Beko DWD5410W Kitchen Appliances, Dishwashers Dishwasher Beko Heater

It doesn't matter which way around on a heater element. Either way will work and not cause problems. You may also have an earth wire which will be green or green/yellow. Do not put that on the element terminal. It will have a seperate terminal connected to the outside metal casing.
