How can i fix my mountfield princess rear deflector panel?

I used a T15 drill bit adaptation.

But I can't get the height adjuster knob to come off.

I've taken the cap of and unscrewed the internal screw, but it still won't come off.

Remove handle:2large plastic screw on underside.use 7mm box spanner or slimline 7mm socket to remove 4screws holding cover on.Lift cover up to expose flap retaining bar and drive bar out carefully with hammer and rod/screwdriver,fit new flap and reassemble.purchased my flap from Amazon.

How do you unscrew the bits. Which tool do I need. They seem like their nuts rather than screws.

I just unscrewed the 4 screws at each corner of the top casing and pulled it up. You can then remove bar/spring/deflector plate. Mine has just broken after 25 years. Cheapest new plate I've found is from greenstripe £13 plus 5 p&p.
