Pool of water under vehicle?

after a long drive i stopped my car and saw about a pint of a watery fluid under my car. I had problems on route when i found a split in the expansion tank which i managed to cobble a repair. I assume the two are linked but not sure what to do as there still appears to be fluid inthe expansion tank so wonder if it is a bigger problem
