Funny noise when PTO lever is engaged?

I have a Bolen riding lawn mower 13AM762F765 38" deck. I replaced the deck belt. It is put on the right way. But now I here a funny noise when the PTO lever is engaged. Have checked the shaft things and they are ok. Any other thing it could be. thank you in advance.
