Lay z spa -Error code E05?

It's nearly 2015 and this is still occurring, and there is no known solution for E05 through Bestway. Why are they still selling this spa pump.
I have had two, with the E05 beeping problem. out of warranty makes the spa useless.

if iv got a pump thats only 4 months old and has error code 05 how code it be lime scale

On mine it was the temp sensors,made up a couple of 69k resistors and bypassed them,will work now but obviously will not read correct temp

The main problem with many error codes on heater/filters is the actual RCD plug itself, I have simple replaced mine using a standard plug and use my indoor fuse box as a trip if anything goes wrong. Ideally you should replace the RCD but I find its simply not worth it.

have a look on ebay there is a very good repair guide for sale on there and it covers lots of issues with the lay z spa heater. Fixed my e02 fault.

hi i had the same code on mine all i was told to try was to fill the pump with descaler and leave for 24 hours rinse well and plug it back in --it worked for about an hour and packed up again and can not be fixed --even if you ring best way they know the problem exists but have no fix for it
