Mend Yale 486 Door Lock Body

How to remove Yale 3 point door lock. ?

Yale 3 point lock body (shoot bolt connection) for aluminium external door. Can remove all securing screws but can't release connecting rods from body of main locking section for handles and lock cylinder. I am sure it is a Yale 486 type lock.
