Mend Vauxhall Astra 2l Engine Management Diesel

why does the engine management light on my Vauxhall Astra diesel keep showi?

I have a 1999 Vauxhall Astra 2l diesel which for the last year shows the engine management icon illuminating every 63 seconds. It is immediately extinguished with footbrake application but returns after 63 seconds.
