Why does my lawnmower stop working?

assuming you refilled the gas cause it ran out if you then re used the choke on a HOT engine you flooded it.

remove the spark plug and see if plug is wet, if its wet turn engine over RAPIDLY to expel excess FUEL .heat the spark plug to burn off the excess fuel ,refit it up the HT lead,ground the plug on the engine block,with a pain of (INSULATED PLIERS) turn engine over RAPIDLY and look for the plug to SPARK, if o k refit the plug ,if no spark its the either the plug or ht lead/coil breaking down when HOT
