Mend Nissan K12 Rear Micra

How do I fold down the rear seats in my Nissan Micra K12 5 door (54 reg)?

I've read the user manual but still can not seem to fold the rear seats down. I need to fold them down in order to get to the boot lock as my boot also no longer opens!

Any help is much appreciated!

Nissan Nissan K12 Vehicles, Cars Rear Nissan Micra

Go into the boot and on the rear of each seat back at their base there should be a small black leaver. Pull each in turn as you push the seats backs forward. To return to upright just lift the backs from inside the car and they will click locked in their upright position. Make sure the rear seat belts are not trapped behind the raised seat backs.
