I have cut through the cord whilst cutting the hedge is ther?

Don't mean this to sound rude,but make sure you understand what the previous answer meant....if you buy that plug...attach the plug with the sticky-out bits to the part of the cable attached to the hedge cutter and the socket part (with the sticky-in bits ) to the cable with the wall plug attached! Otherwise you could have 240v power running thru the sticky-out bits!
