how to repair iron.rowenta?

how do i get plate off the bottom so i can blow out the sediment out of it

how do i install the 2 pumps on the rowenta dm880 steam iron,i took 2 screws off the back and the iron still dont come apart,can you help? thankyou

t's 99% likely that the heating element is open circuit and not heating. I have given up attempting to repair irons these past 15 or more years - they don't make them to be repairable - they do not want to be sued when a user gets electrocuted after messing around inside.

Down to the shops I feel...
