Mend DSC Power Turn Battery

How can I power down or turn off the ranger american system?

I no longer want the system to be functional at all. I think I should disconnect the battery, how do you do that? Then I should unplug it from an outlet....I have a plug in my garage that says DSC is that the main power source?
