Mend Hetty Motor Runs Bit

my hetty hoover wont suck?

the motor still runs and i have cleared the hose and nozzle bit inside and changed the bag, but there is still no suction, i'm gutted as she is usually so reliable. i was clearing up spilt cat litter.....have i broken it?
