loose cutting blade?

I have an elderly self propelled Mountfield SP480 with a B&S 4hp engine which does the job, but after clouting a bone in the garden ( thanks dogs ) the blade will do up tightly but as soon as I run the engine it comes loose. I have taken the bolt out which is fine, any ideas please?
