The tumble dryer is no longer heating just spinning?

Recently there was a little overheating in my tumble dryer, and my boyfriend said that he saw a small glow inside it. The clothes came out smelling but not looking a little burnt.
Now the tuble dryer is no longer heating just spinning.
Your burner box overtemp switch might be stuck in the open position. You can check it with an ohmmeter. You should also check your temperature switches since the dryer overheated. Hope this helps. Good luck.
