USB memory stick not working?

I was using my memory stick a couple of days ago, and it was fine. I have returned to it today and it isn't even registering on the PC. I left it plugged in whilst not in use. When I triedanother one the PC instantly came up with new found hardware. This didn't happen with the other, and it isn't logged in the 'my computer' part
