Mend Hotpoint Defrost Drain Water

Fridge freezer(hot point)?

The freezer defrosted everything,&the drain bucket was full with water,I syphoned the water out and things seem to be running okay.drain holes are clear,but tier seems to quiet a bit of water in the drain bucket again is this normal ? Thank you
