Mend Funai SR90VE Finalize Dvd Recorder

My funai built Symphonic will not always finalize DVD's?

I have a Symphonic SR90VE DVD Recorder built by Funai, that will not always finalize. How to fix this ? Is there any good software with simple instructions to correct this online ? Any help will be appreciated.
