Mend Mazda 626 Piston Fit Pads

How to push back front brake piston back to fit back over new brake pads?

I have swing type caliber on a Ford/Mazda 626 disc pads, I'm unable to push back the piston to accommodate the new brake pads, so I've put back the old pads on without the shims in order to fit the caliber over the old pads.

Can you help how to move the piston back into caliber to accommodate the thickness of the new brake pads!

take the top off the brake and clutch fluid bottle then with a small g clamp tighten the g clamp onto your piston and there you go

slacken bleed nipple on calliper then push piston back in, large water pump pliers should do the trick, or pushing down using the shaft of a hammer, just be careful not to nip the rubber seal around piston, the brake fluid will spurt out so watch ure eyes!
u might have to bleed brakes afterwards
