sensors not lighting up?

I had a plumber do some work on my house, and he caught a alarm cable which set off the alarm but since then when i set the alarm all six zones light up on keypad with a constant beeping but i have no lights on the sensors. The plumber did not peirce any cables. Any ideas. Thanks John

This is a bit like a house i went to recently in Kent, Carpet fitter didnt cut or damage any cables but now the alarm wont work, Stanley knife blades dont you just love em.
Dont we just love Plumbers and Carpet fitters, It wasnt me Guv i didnt touch the cables, the alarm just went off on its own.
Alarms do that when they are board just to get some love and attention from their owners,
Maybe try un-screwing it from the wall and take it out for some much needed excercise, must be lonely being screwed to a wall,

check aux fuse on the panel. You will need a multi meter to test the fuse. Replace it witht the sane type (usually a glass fuse)

not exactly rocket science,is it,alarm working, plumber "caught cable"alarm not working, and a fuse dont blow for nothing, kinda narrows it done, dont you think,?so,this link started with a blown fuse, and ends with one.!

Well, I'm sorry, but, SOMETHING the plumber did, caused the problem.
"and he caught a alarm cable which set off the alarm" .... "since then when i set the alarm all six zones light up on keypad with a constant beeping but i have no lights on the sensors"

All the sensor lights not working from that time on = a BLOWN fuse.

Perhaps he has pinched a cable with a floor board, hit it with a hammer, nicked it with a Stanley knife(very difficult to trace) or something along those lines.

Hope he has Insurance because the repair bill is his.
