how do i make it work again??!?

i got a philips go gearcam 8GB-SA2CAM08K/97 last year around december. it worked properly for some time but then after a few months one day when i connected it to my pc for charging then later when i disconeted it it started to hang and all my files were deleted and when i checked out the settings it noted that internal memory is 0GB and used space is also 0GB.and the device is not getting detected in my computer. please i need help!!! please kindly suggest me a solution...!!
