Mend Canon Chesterfield Grill Ignition

Grill on Canon Chesterfield won't ingnite?

My grill on my Canon Chesterfield will not ignite. When I press the ignition on it lights but when I release it the it goes out whilst the fan remains on.

When I try extended ignition it goes after a little bit anyway.

Can anyone help
