Mend Leisure Rangemaster 110 Repair Gas Cooker

Leisure Rangemaster 110 dual gas oven?

It seems the turning mechanism on one of the oven knobs has ceased. I have checked all the threads and knobs and they are fine but I need a pair of pliers to move the knob a very small amount.
Is an engineer my only saviour?
