Re: Hitachi vacuum cleaner, Photocatalytic 1600w. No Power?

This vacuum cleaner was running perfectly well last time I used it. I changed the bag, plugged it in and switched it on - no power at all. I've checked the socket, no problems there. The plug is a sealed unit, so I can't unscrew it to see if the fuse has died, and can't seem to easily access any other areas (ie: on/0ff switch) to see if there's a loose wire? If anyone has any suggestion re: how to get it running again, I'd be very graetful.
