Replace an Astra Wing mirror?

Remove inner triangular fitment (with the small speaker) with hand force or flat bladed screwdriver (you will break at least one of the three plastic clips) Remove the three screws holding the outer mirror taking care not to allow any to drop into the door, disconnect the electrics plug and then do it all in reverse to fit new part.

Pull off the inside front cover, I used a flat screw driver and gently pulled it off. Unscrewed the old mirror off - but as said above, watch that it doesn't fall into the door. The original screws that were used did not fit into the new one. After a VERY frustrating couple of hours and trips back and forth, the auto car guy tells me that I need self taping screws!! Once I had those it was easy to screw on and push everything back into place.. . even a girl could do it

I just replace my Astra wing mirrors. Its so simple. Remove plate from inside with flat screw driver or hand gently. Then unscrew three screws and remove the mirror. place new one and screw it. at the end place plate from inside.

The interior triangle is held in by three clips, to remove it all you have to do is use gentle force by hand. I did and one of the clip broke but that is the only way.

to remove the triangle bit you just have to gentle prise it away from the door, then you remove 3 screws use a magnitised screw drive and be careful of the last screw as it can fall behind the panel as for the cover i cant help still working that one out myself

Mk4 or Mk5? Mk4 is held on by 3 screws hiding under the triangular interior gusset on the door. Remove the 3 screws and it will fall off. Elec mirrors need the connector undoing of course.
