vectra-c fuel pump problem?

hi ive got a 2002 vectra c 2.2 dti that wont start at all had computer on it and found fault with cam sensor as the cam sensor is inside the fuel pump i need to replace the pump, now i have found a second hand fuel pump that is de-coded but has a different pump number so i need to know if i can still fit and have coded this other pump even though the number is slightly different. if sombody could help it would be apresiated
