astra mk5 play in steering?

had an advisory on my mot which says there is slight play in the steering. does anyone know if there is any adjustment in the rack.there is no play at any linkages or bushes

check track rod ends/track rods and column joints for play,if you are saying there is no play in them then ask the tester what he found
