how can i fix my cash register ecr monitor 8000 series ?

i am trying to program new prices into the cash register but i cannot get the key to turn to the P mode to change the prices. Can anyone help me the manual does not explain how to turn the key to P mode

I don't know this model, but you probably have a key that doesn't have manager permissions. You may be using an operator key. See if you have another key with it.
