Mend Hot Water Preasure

i have a mixer shower upstairs ?

i have a mixer shower upstairs the hot water preasure is poor there is a hot water cylinder down stairs and hot water preasure down stairs is great .dont know if to raise cold water tank in loft or buy a pump

if it has always been like this first check that the mixer is the right model for the system and will work on a pump and by lifting the tank you will get enough height then it's down to cost versus performance (one important thing is the amount of noise a pump makes some models will drown out the tele if it is downstairs)
